Anything that connects me to the outdoors — hiking, discovering new places, and experiencing new cultures. I’m happiest when I’m exploring and surrounded by nature.
It’s hard to choose just one, but I’ve always been drawn to organic architecture. Designs that blend seamlessly with their surroundings truly capture my attention and make me feel happy.
Living in a town surrounded by ocean and redwoods constantly reminds me how powerful our connection to nature can be. That connection inspires me to design spaces that provide more than shelter — spaces that reflect the beauty around us and nurture the people who live in them.
I was born and raised in Costa Rica, where my love for nature and curiosity about how people live within their surroundings began. Exploring the coastlines and small towns of my country taught me to appreciate the relationship between design, place, and community. When I moved to Santa Cruz, I immediately felt at home — the ocean, the redwoods, and the creative energy of this town inspired me to keep growing and eventually build a career in architecture and design.
