With highly visible storefront space on 41st Avenue and apartments above, this renovation provided an opportunity to raise the bar for design in one of Santa Cruz’s busiest commercial areas. Opening up the lower story to the sidewalk and updating the tired facade with new materials, the design brings new life to the streetscape.
