The first Habitat for Humanity residence in the city of Scotts Valley, this three ­unit townhouse grew out of earlier studies for a multi-­unit complex in Santa Cruz. Set on a sloping site, the three townhouse volumes step down the hillside, with solar panels perched on the slanted roofs. Inside, visitors are greeted by a double height living space and stairs up to a master suite on the upper floor
